About Us

Wangara Green Ventures is an evergreen climate-focused fund in Ghana, sponsored by Innohub Foundation through the Ghana Climate Venture Facility (GCVF) from the World Bank under the infoDev Climate Technology Program. The fund invests between GHS 250,000 and GHS 2,500,000 through equity and quasi-equity instruments as well as provide technical assistance to portfolio companies.

He previously worked with the banking industry and EY, where he consulted for companies across West Africa. He has an MBA (Imperial College Business School) and attended the IFC Investment Manager and DGGF Small-Cap Mezzanine Finance training programs. He is an alumnus of the Oxford Impact Investing Program.

An investment banker with over 28 years of experience. He served as the Managing Director of Fidelity Capital Partners (later Jacana Partners then Mustard Capital Partners) which was one of the early venture capital funds in Ghana. He led Fidelity Capital to $40m+ in AUM with 14+ investments and 10+ exits. He has also worked at Fidelity Discount House, Universal Merchant Bank as the COO and also served as the CEO of UT Bank.
